It’s a little known fact that life as a fish actually started out as a series of comics narrative illustrations1. It was a grand vision: bypassing the conventional publishing model by providing 8½” by 11” full-resolution PDF files, which could be be easily downloaded, printed, and distributed. A few comics graphic stories were drawn, and a website was designed —until it reached that ominous 90% completion mark. I then realized that drawing comics illustrating is very time consuming, and a lot of work —not necessarily something I would be able to do on a regular basis. So what had started as a rarely updated, glorified web comic series of narrative illustrations entered its cocoon, and many moons later emerged as a rarely updated, glorified weblog writing project.
