Charles Mingus’ The Black Saint and the Sinner Lady

A fantastic jazz album, a free sound but a very coherent structure and orchestration. Nice and bassy too, with some great flamenco-ish guitar parts. I’ve been listening to it all day.

In Rainbows by Radiohead

More of Radiohead doing what they do well —which for £2 I can’t really complain about.

Har Mar Superstar

Superstar is an understatement. Needs to be seen live to fully appreciate him.

The Stars That Play With Laughing Sam’s Dice by Jimi Hendrix

It’s starts kind of normal, but then it devolves into a long, noisy, and mostly directionless Hendrix solo. This is where it starts to rock.
